Holoxica was initially located at The University of Edinburgh's faculty of Engineering in the Scottish Microelectronics Centre (SMC), where we stayed till early 2016, before moving to CodeBase. We are now moving back to the university to Murchison House.

We have good relations with many departments across the university, including the Medical School, Clinical Research Imaging Centre (CRIC), Physics and Astronomy, Informatics & Computing (EPCC), Business School and Chemistry. Our founder Dr. Javid Khan became an Honorary Fellow with the School of Engineering.

Holoxica has a long-standing partnership with the Applied Photonics Doctoral Training Centre of Heriot-Watt University in Engineering and Physical Sciences. Holoxica was formed around the founder's doctoral research that was funded by this centre, where we continue to collaborate on projects. The company is also supported by Edinburgh Business School. Our founder, Dr. Javid Khan is a Board Member of the Mathematics and Computer Science Industrial Steering Board.
