Volumetric Display

We are currently working on our third generation holographic display, which leverages the work we have done with the previous generations. The aim is to create a volumetric space in mid-air with independently addressable voxels in (x,y,z). If these voxels are sufficiently numerous and dense, then this will approximate a display. After all, a digital display is nothing more than a bunch of dots next to each other.

 

 

Holoxica is designing the next generation holographic 3D display for the visualisation of images from medical scanners (CT, MRI, Ultrasound). This project, HoloMedical3D, is supported by the European Commission Horizon 2020 SME Instrument. This Phase2 grant will build a basic prototype for validation in several medical scenarios including education, diagnostic/monitoring and surgical planning.

Holoxica is currently seeking venture investment to further develop this technology into a clinical product. This technology is available to license.
